Summer 2010 Workshops for Kids Four Day Art camp 9 am to Noon each day cost of classes all four $70.00.  Individual classes $20.00 each. Ages 6 to ? Pick up date for clay fires will be June 25, 2010.  Class held at 75 E. Washington street, Martinsville, IN All supplies included.

Artist Sue St. John, Signature Artist Member of the Kentucky Watercolor Society, will teach her "Experimental Watercolor Workshop" Saturday June 19th, 2010 from 10 am to 4 pm at the First Christian Church in Martinsville, IN  89 S. Main Street. Sues artwork is semi-abstract with lots of color, texture and unusual techniques. Supply list:  

Watercolor paper - 2 full sheets (22x30) Arches 140 lb white cold press OR Fabriano artistico 140 lb hot press.  Sue will have paper on hand if  you wish to purchase. 

Paint - tubes of watercolor paints in various colors or liquid watercolors. 

Brushes - Bring what you have--flats or rounds or a cheap hardware store brush #2

Board - For paper to attach to

Medium - One small bottle of liquid liquitex goss Medium and Varnish (Hobby Lobby or Michaels) 

Other Supplies - paper toweling, tissues, watercontainer, coated kind of paper plates for palette, sponge, Saran Wrap, Waxed paper, colored pencils for finishing.  Some supplies will be furnished for textures.  

We will paint with watercolors in an abstract manner using different techniques.  We will improve and work on our designs after the first stage dries.  Sue will demonstrate first, then you will develop your own painting.  Come join the fun and wear older paint clothes.  Online Registration
